Brief: This standing height landing table was one of the first projects I was asked to participate in at MASH Studios.
The main challenge was presenting a leg design on concept 1 that was feasible. Another challenge was maintaining the legs aesthetic but simultaneously eliminating compound cutting. In order to eliminate the compound cutting that led to messy and irritating welding seams we switched materials from tube steel to barsteel, eliminating unsightly seams by reducing the surface area that was affected by the compound cut.
Project Location: San Francisco
Project Status: Concepts generated, anticipating order 2017/2018
Materials Used: FAS white oak, FAS ash top with a satin black stain, cold rolled steel with standard RAL blue powder coat, hot rolled steel with matte clear,
Designs, pricing, shipping methods and renderings produced by Andrew Greenbaum in collaboration with MASH Studios
