I designed the Easy Chair in 2017 because I wanted to explore manufacturing my own products. 

The constraints I gave myself for this chair were that it would need to be appropriate for both indoor and outdoor use, easy to ship, easy to stack, and fundamentally beautiful. 

I found a vendor who worked in a steel wire fabrication and decided that they would be an ideal manufacturing partner. I started the design in mid-October and by the end of Feb I had my first prototype, and thus a wonderful portfolio piece was born.
